All I could think at that time was the gift nature has provided our bodies that numbs a badly injured area. I had my personal experience in combat during the Korean War.

It probably “took something out of Lawrence Taylor” that day, realizing the damage he did to another. I am sure Taylor was never the same afterwards. A clean and warrior like player, he also has extreme compassion for his fellow man. This injury will become a huge part of football history to be shown for future generations. Hopefully, some lesson will come from it…..what….I don’t know.
